Submissions

  • Submissions in the form of extended abstracts and full manuscripts are welcome.
  • All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed.
  • Reviewers will provide feedback and suggestion on the full papers which enable them to be published in international journals.
  • Please submit your abstract(s) and/or full paper(s) using your ICAS account in the login menu.
  • The extended abstract should follow this template. Please note that the extended abstract should have enough extension (normally no less than 50%) to be considered as an article paper for publication in an international journal.  
  • The full paper must comply with this template.

 

PAPER SUBMISSION

In the 3rd International Conference on Applied Statistics (ICAS-2023), as part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submitted manuscript must be an original report. It has not appeared in literature in any form in the past, and will not be submitted to any other venue concurrently with the Journal submission or until it appears in the Conference Proceedings (in case of acceptance).
  2. The submitted manuscript is free from any plagiarism issue. All the submitted papers will be screened for plagiarism using the latest technology. We make it sure that the submitted papers contain original materials. The maximum content of similarity is 20%, based on Turn It In plagiarism checking result.
  3. The submitted manuscript is in the camera-ready of 10-25 pages long and formatted according to Conference Proceedings Template.
  4. The submitted manuscript and its supplementary files should be submitted electronically as a DOC / Ms Word File.
  5. Only manuscript submitted through the electronic submission system and strictly adhering to the Conference Proceedings format will be considered for reviewing.
  6. The submitted manuscript should go through an initial screening process by the Editor to weed out papers which are not suitable for the Conference scopes or have different focus, papers which are marginal, weak papers (not much contribution), written with low quality of English and etc.
  7. Only good and relevant manuscripts should be processed and sent to TWO independent reviewers (we do not want to waste the time of the editorial members and reviewers by sending poor or marginal papers to them).
  8. Final acceptance decision will be made by the Editor by checking the revised version.
  9. The author-accepted manuscript must commit to register and pay the conference fee. 
  10. The author-accepted manuscript must certify that the article does not contain content that is against the law. The use of licensed data, software, images, video, and other materials has been licensed by the authorities.
  11. The author-accepted manuscript must commit state that all the information She/He has supplied and mentioned is correct. When the information found is incorrect, She/He is willing to accept the risk and account for it in accordance with applicable law.
